Me! Who is this guy?

I am a hobbyist graphic designer looking to break into the industry. Specialties include video editing, motion graphics, and digital
delivery. I have an international design background comprising of European study abroad experiences. My technical proficiency encompasses Adobe Creative Suite and professional-grade computer hardware. Currently I am finishing a degree in Media Studies at the University of Minnesota.

Omerta Syndicate

My most well noted website for catching the eyes of E-ON Magazine in their Spring 2007 issue, I created this dark, horizontally organized website for the Omerta gaming community as more than just a means of communication, but also as a net presence. The objective was to reflect the dark worlds of games the group played and the seriousness of players themselves by creating a mock corporate intranet. While the web standards on this project are dated, I still seem to get plenty of positive feedback on it.

Future Proof

A collaborative project with my good friend Shobhan Roy for the completion of his Master’s degree in Creative Games at the University of Salford, Future Proof was a short space opera 7 months in the making. From the objective:

"This project and its concept involved the full development of a working [short] film rendered within a game engine (Machinima), in order to investigate and critically evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of producing such an entertainment art, as well as its feasibility as opposed to other motion mediums such as Ray-traced CGI, Animation and [live action] films. The Machinima was developed within the Unreal Development Kit, released by Epic Games. It is seen as a 3D Engine tailored to suit many needs, from developing games, to generalized immersive environments and even physics simulations."

Plazmar Records

Homebrewed local record label Plazmar Records asked for my help in 2003 just as I was beginning get my design studies off the ground. They wanted a brand that would appeal to the tastes of hip-hop listeners but would also be viewed as progressive.
